Daniel Island’s first homes went up in the late 1990s, and the island filled in steadily through the 2000s and beyond. Those houses were built to a high standard in a carefully planned setting, which is exactly why owners tend to stay and renovate rather than sell. What changes is the inside: bathrooms with builder-standard tile and tubs nobody uses, kitchens closed off from the living space, and finishes that feel of their era.
The bathroom shown at the top of this page is one of our Daniel Island remodels. Like most of our work on the island, it began with a walk-through of the existing space, a preliminary budget and timeline, and a frank talk about which changes would make the room feel new. From there we refined the plan, coordinated trades and oversaw the work every day until it was complete. Our renovation services page describes the kinds of rooms we take on.
For clients ready to build, we also construct custom homes working with your architect’s plans and the island’s design requirements. And when a renovation uncovers moisture damage or rot, as it often does in coastal homes, our home repair team corrects it before new finishes go in.
